While Europe is the center of luxury accommodation surrounded by ancient architecture and art surrounded by classy, so is Africa for centuries the destination for the discerning traveler that space, peace and a return to nature searching.
South Africa
Icons in the travel business as MountNelson Hotel and Singita Private Game Reserve in South Africa have put on the map. Service, style and comfort are obvious. The big names feel the wind in the back of a new generation topaccommodaties that some travelers have higher scaled. Ezard House (Cape Town), Birkenhead House (Hermanus) and Kwandwe Ecca Lodge (Eastern Cape) are examples of this.
Luxury island resorts
The islands of the Indian Ocean (Zanzibar, Seychelles, Mauritius) have beach resorts in many shapes and sizes. Tropical islands with only a small resort, beach resorts with a range of facilities, the choice is yours.
North Island is a private island with only a small luxury lodge. The island is located north of the main island of Mahe and was a few years ago bought by a group of individuals that highly valued the nature and have the natural state of the island to recover. The 12 luxury villas (450m2 each) are located on the east side of the island.

A great way to get the maximum off the most beautiful places to spend is a fly-in safari. Botswana has the highest reputation. The luxury here is in vast areas of wilderness with very few visitors.
